These terms describe use of the independently operated UPIQRTool website and its tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Questions can be sent through our Contact page or to [email protected].
1. Free tools and their scope
The current tools are free and require no account. They create UPI QR codes, printable displays and direct UPI links using the recipient details you supply, or read information from QR images on your device. A generated item is a payment request, not a transaction record, tax invoice or donation receipt.
2. We do not provide payment services
UPIQRTool is not a bank, payment gateway, acquirer or payment processor. We do not open accounts, receive or hold funds, execute payments, confirm receipt or settlement, or process refunds. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by NPCI, banks or UPI app providers.
3. Verify details before paying
We do not verify UPI IDs, account holders, recipient identity, transaction success or third-party app compatibility. A name entered in a QR code is not verified account information. Payers must review the recipient, UPI ID and final amount in a trusted UPI app before authorising payment. For transaction problems, contact your bank or payment app.
A prefilled amount is not a payment lock. We do not guarantee one-time use, expiry or compatibility with every app. Copying, opening, downloading or scanning a link or QR code does not confirm payment.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter, your right to use any logo or content, and the lawful use and sharing of the resulting files and links. Check outputs before sharing or printing. Do not enter or send us UPI PINs, OTPs or bank login credentials.
5. Unacceptable use
Do not use the site for fraud, impersonation, misleading payment requests, unlawful fundraising, infringement of others’ rights or other unlawful activity. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious material or overload the service.
6. Privacy and third-party services
Read our Privacy notice for local processing, optional analytics, hosting and email information. Shared QR codes, files and links can reveal the details they contain. Payment apps and banks operate under their own terms; we do not control their availability or decisions.
7. Availability and limitations
We aim to keep the tools useful, but errors and interruptions can occur. Features may change or be unavailable. The tools are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free output or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies and review output independently.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept responsibility for losses caused by incorrect input, misuse, reliance on unverified output or third-party payment services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
8. Updates and contact
