Read a UPI QR code on this device
Choose a picture or paste a screenshot. Nothing is uploaded. A decoded web address or upi://pay link is shown as text and is not opened.
pn is text written into the code by whoever made it. It is not proof of the bank-registered name. NPCI’s 18 September 2026 consolidated circular, section 2.15, says a name taken from a QR code is not shown as the beneficiary’s name. Section 2.13 requires the core-banking name before a payment started with a UPI ID. For merchant payments, section 2.14 describes a validated brand name. This page cannot tell which of those names an app will show, and it cannot check who owns the UPI ID.
Reading the code does not verify the VPA, does not move money, and does not mean a payment succeeded.
This reader returns one code. If the picture has several squares, crop to the one you want to read.
